Laura Fletcher, PhD is a medical writer specializing in conducting literature reviews, writing abstracts, creating presentations, and providing general support for ongoing clinical studies. She received her MS and PhD from the University of Georgia in Behavioral and Brain Sciences and holds an MS in Clinical Research from Campbell University. Dr. Fletcher has worked on clinical writing projects to support EU MDR 2017/745 including systematic literature reviews per PRISMA guidelines, state of the art reports, summary of safety and clinical performance (SSCP) reports, readability analyses, clinical evaluation report (CER) inputs, and post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF) reports. She also has experience with clinical data synthesis and formulating responses to 510(k) interactive review questions from FDA. Dr. Fletcher taught at the University of Georgia, San Bernardino Valley College, and the University of California San Diego, with classes including Research Analysis in Psychology, Sensation and Perception, Biological Psychology, Illusions and the Brain, and Cognitive Neuroscience of Vision.
